We'll give you a hint: just about any Native English speaker can do it, and you don't need to be an educator to take advantage of this massive international job market. Join us for an introduction to all things Teaching English Abroad! We will cover the teaching job markets around the world, TEFL Certifications, and how to choose the program or destination that's right for you.

Visitoz was founded in 1991 and since then thousands of young people from all over the world have been to Springbrook Farm to learn the basics of Australian agriculture and had guaranteed jobs for the whole of their visa. These jobs also qualify for the second visa. There are also jobs available in tourism, hospitality, teaching, nursing, construction and almost anything else that can be done in a rural area! The programme includes four days of jetlag recovery with sun, sand, sea and surf, followed by five days of farm and safety training. Andréanne Martel is a Collaborative research Program Officer at the Canadian Council for International Co-operation (CCIC) in Ottawa. Prior to joining CCIC, she held a Research Award position in the Policy and Evaluation division at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), where she conducted research on access to justice for survivors of violence in India. Andréanne was the coordinator of a research centre on international co-operation at UQAM. In recent years, she has worked as a consultant for several humanitarian organizations, including the Red Cross and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), to evaluate their reconstruction program in Haiti following the January 2010 earthquake. Andréanne has also worked as a volunteer in West Africa and South Asia.

Andréanne Martel est chargée de programme au Conseil canadien pour la coopération internationale (CCCI) à Ottawa. Avant de se joindre au CCCI, elle travaillait au sein de la Division des politiques et de l'évaluation du Centre de recherches en développement international (CRDI) où elle menait des recherches sur l'accès à la justice pour les survivantes de violence en Inde. Andréanne a également été coordonnatrice de l'Observatoire sur la coopération internationale à l’UQAM. Au cours des dernières années, elle a travaillé comme consultante pour plusieurs organisations humanitaires, dont la Croix-Rouge et l'Organisation internationale pour les migrations (OIM) afin d'évaluer leur programme de reconstruction en Haïti suite au séisme de janvier 2010. Elle a également été coopérante volontaire en Afrique de l’Ouest et dans la région de l’Océan Indien.

Michael Bouliane is a senior public relations professional with more than 15 years of corporate communications management experience. As a multilingual corporate spokesperson, he has developed a number of successful media relations strategies and award-winning corporate social responsibility programs, while managing issues and advising senior executives. His international work experience in Latin America, Asia Pacific and North America gives him a global lens, and allows him to bring best practices and key learnings from around the world to his day-to-day work. Michael’s management and consulting experience spans a number of industries, and he recently worked as a pro bono Marketing and Communications Advisor in Peru with Cuso International. He is currently the Manager of Corporate Communications for Toyota Canada.
